An introduction to the types of ampoules
Ampoules are sealable pharmaceutical glass bottles, which can be divided into colour ring ampoules and colour dot ampoules. They are often used to store injectable medicines and vaccines, serums, etc.
Ampoules are made from glass tubes fired and are widely used for high purity chemicals where injectables and air isolation are required. The head of the ampoule is ignited with a flame for minutes in order to isolate the air. The neck of the bottle is marked with a colour ring and colour dot. 1、Material classification
They are mainly divided into neutral borosilicate glass amplifiers and low borosilicate glass amplifiers. This is distinguished by the boron oxide content of the glass. The boron oxide content of neutral silica glass ampoule is 8% ~ 12%, which is chemically stable, but the price is high in the domestic mayor/market, and only 5% ~ 8% boron oxide content is popular and inexpensive in some products, so the domestic mayor/market coverage is high.
2、Classification from product shape
It can be classified into four types: B type, C type, D type and E type, pharmaceutical companies can choose the corresponding bottle type according to the requirements and characteristics of the production line. B and C type have relatively low production environment requirements, while D and E type ampoules do not need to be cleaned by customers, and the sealed ampoules will be opened directly on the Guanfeng line, which has higher hygiene requirements, and only one or two enterprises can produce them in China at present.
3. Classification in simple analysis methods
It can be classified into three categories: dot etching analysis, colour ring analysis and circular cut analysis. These three simple analysis methods are more commonly used among China are the first two, but with the development of differentiation and personalization, the colour bell (including decorative ring) of Rishi Anqiu is also gradually accepted by domestic customers. In addition, international pharmaceutical companies have adopted the new ring-cut engraving method, but this method has high requirements on the size of glass tube specifications, bottle process and charging equipment. Brown glass ampoules are mostly used for light-sensitive drugs, but brown ampoules contain iron oxide, which can decompose certain active ingredients of drugs and are not widely used at one time.
